Privacy Policy

Short version: CinePrecise does not collect any personal data. All calculations run on your device. Location is used only for the Sun Tracker and is never stored or transmitted. No analytics, no tracking, no cloud account required.
1. Who we are
CinePrecise is developed and distributed by TRISIMIO SL (CIF B06916753), a software company registered in Madrid, Spain, trading under the Trimonkey brand. Contact: privacy@trimonkey.es
2. Summary of our privacy posture
CinePrecise is a professional cinematography toolkit designed to work entirely offline. The app:
- ✓ Does not collect or transmit any personal data to our servers
- ✓ Does not use advertising identifiers or cross-app tracking
- ✓ Does not require a user account or sign-in
- ✓ Does not include third-party analytics SDKs in the current version
- ✓ Stores preferences and your gear library locally on your device only
3. Data we access and why
3a. Camera
The Director's Viewfinder feature uses your iPhone's camera to display a live preview cropped to simulate the field of view of selected cinema cameras and lenses. Camera access is used only while the Viewfinder is open. No frames are recorded or transmitted. Photos are only saved when you explicitly tap the capture button.
3b. Location
The Sun Tracker feature requests location permission to calculate the sun's position, golden hour times, and solar trajectory for your current or selected location. Location data is processed entirely on-device using CoreLocation and standard astronomical algorithms. Location is never stored beyond the active app session and is never transmitted to any server.
3c. Local storage (UserDefaults)
App preferences (selected camera, lens, unit system) and your personal gear library are stored using NSUserDefaults (Apple's local preferences store). This data lives only on your device and is included in iCloud backups only if you have enabled iCloud backup for this app in your iOS settings.
4. Data we do NOT collect
- ✕ Audio recordings or voice data
- ✕ Photos or video captured through the viewfinder
- ✕ Location history or GPS tracks
- ✕ Device identifiers (IDFA, IDFV, serial numbers)
- ✕ Crash reports (no Sentry or equivalent in current version)
- ✕ Usage analytics or session data
- ✕ Name, email, or any account information
5. Required Reason API usage
Apple requires apps to declare the purpose of certain system APIs. CinePrecise uses the following, as declared in its PrivacyInfo.xcprivacy manifest:

NSPrivacyTracking is declared as false. NSPrivacyCollectedDataTypes is empty — no data types are collected.
6. Third-party services
The current version of CinePrecise does not integrate any third-party analytics, advertising, or crash reporting SDKs. The app makes no outbound network requests during normal use.
The App Store distribution is managed by Apple Inc. Apple's own privacy practices apply to the download and payment process. See Apple's Privacy Policy.
7. In-app purchases
If CinePrecise offers paid features or subscriptions, all payment processing is handled exclusively by Apple via StoreKit. We do not receive or store your payment card details. See Apple's privacy policy for details on purchase data.
8. Children's privacy
CinePrecise is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. The app has no social features, accounts, or messaging.
9. Your rights (GDPR)
As a user in the European Union or European Economic Area, you have rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), including the right to access, rectify, or erase personal data, and to object to processing. Because CinePrecise does not transmit personal data to our servers, there is effectively no data for us to provide, rectify, or delete beyond what is stored locally on your device (which you can delete by removing the app).

10. Data retention
All data stored by CinePrecise (preferences, gear library) resides locally on your device. Deleting the app removes all associated data. We do not retain any data on our servers.
11. Changes to this policy
If we add analytics, crash reporting, or other data-processing features in a future version, this privacy policy will be updated before that version ships. The updated date at the top of this page will reflect any changes.
